Volvo V70 2013 - the third generation of the car, which debuted in 2007. In 2013, the company launched an updated version of the model on the market, the external distinguishing features of which were modified bumpers and upgraded optics.

The car was developed in an era of close cooperation between Volvo and Ford, so both the V70 and S80 are built on the "Ford" platform. The Swedes also borrowed part of the power units from Ford. In particular, we are talking about some engines and a six-speed Powershift robotic box.

The trunk volume of the station wagon in the normal state is 575 liters. With the rear seatbacks folded down, it can be increased to 1,600 liters.

A long list of active safety systems is available for the model, including blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, driver attention control, active cruise control, as well as the City Safety system (automatic braking at speeds up to 50 km / h up to full installation), which put five-door already in the database.

Front-wheel drive versions are offered with the following powertrain bundles:

• 1.6-liter diesel (115 hp and 270 Nm) + six-speed manual or robot;

• 2-liter diesel (136 hp and 350 Nm) + six-speed manual or automatic;

• 2-liter diesel (163 hp and 400 Nm) + six-speed manual or automatic;

• 2.4-liter diesel (215 hp and 420 Nm) + six-speed manual or automatic;

• 1.6-liter gasoline engine (180 hp and 240 Nm) + six-speed manual or robot;

• 2-liter gasoline engine (240 hp and 320 Nm) + six-speed robot.

Power plants of all-wheel drive modifications:

• 2.4-liter diesel (163 hp and 420 Nm) + six-speed automatic;

• 2.4-liter diesel (215 hp and 420 Nm) + six-speed automatic;

• 3-liter gasoline engine (304 hp and 440 Nm) + six-speed automatic.

The car is delivered to the Ukrainian market only on order. Serial production is established in Sweden.
