Volvo XC60 - The XC60 crossover debuted back in 2008, but it still looks modern - this is the merit of the successful design of Steve Mattin. And interestingly, over the years it has been selling better and better, and since 2012, the annual sales of the Volvo XC60 have exceeded the one hundred thousandth mark!
Actually, apparently, this is why the planned restyling of 2013 had practically no effect on the appearance of the Volvo XC60: the radiator grille, hood, body kit and optics changed slightly, the exhaust pipes became flat, and new rear-view mirrors appeared. But the internal changes turned out to be more significant, including new finishing materials, a modern multimedia system with a seven-inch touch screen, paddle shifters appeared for versions with automatic transmissions and a digital instrument panel. The list of options has expanded, and electronic assistants have received the latest versions.
Regardless of the engine, the Volvo XC60 is equipped only with all-wheel drive with a Haldex electromagnetic clutch in the rear wheel drive. The crossover is distinguished by a high level of comfort and on the go is not much different from cars, even despite the high, "commander" landing. Off-road capability isn't great, but with the right tires and the right experience, the XC60 can be a good rogue. But in general, its capabilities are designed more for safe driving in unsafe weather than for conquering off-road.
Since 2014, the Volvo XC60 has been assembled not only at the company's Belgian plant, but also at the newest facility in the Chinese city of Chengdu, to meet the demand in the local market. Despite its advanced age, the Volvo XC60 still looks fresh and remains one of the most sought-after models from the Swedish-Chinese manufacturer.
